About us

Flair' Nation

Formed in November 2007.
Flair'Nation is a dance crew residing in small island Singapore. Ages range between 16 to 20 years of age. We don't come from the same school or club, basically we come from all over Singapore.

The crew was formed when two members Fadzley and Daniel decided to join a competition and they had to find dance members to dance with. This is where they took dancers from all over, meaning different schools and went to compete. Started out small but presently. We currently have 15 members strong.

Our main style of dance is Hip Hop which branches out to many aspects. Flair means variety and basically that's the whole concept in which Flair'Nation was build in the first place. We have dancers of different styles coming together as one to share each other's knowledge so as to ultimately benefit the whole crew and make us stronger and united as one.

Our mission is to keep learning not only from ourselves but from other outside resources so as too widen our dance knowledge.

Our goal as a crew is to always help in any way in raising the standard in Singapore. Also, representing Singapore at World Championships. But the biggest goal would be to keep growing as a crew till wherever time takes us.

HEY LOVELY PEOPLE!

Wanted to post last year's raya pictures,but couldnt find the right one.Alright,so as you can see from the abov picture there's about how many...13 people?People not included would be Fadzley,YuYao,Jonas,Jean,Zul.So that makes a total of 18 Flairs.Very big number indeed some might say.

There's this thing which we created ourselves,its called Flair Family.What you see above,is that very family.(For people not included in the picture,just imagine them standing beside or above anyone alright so as to get the whole picture).

When we look at other crews/groups in Singapore mainly they're made up of about maximum 10 members?If its bigger than that,they are usually classified as clubs or organisationial groups which breaks down into many other sub groups.But here, we have 18.Obviously,hard to manage.But we tried,well I definately did try.

Now we look at people who have achieve something in their lives,not just by winning 1st place in a competition etc,but about certain recognition/respect/satisfaction.Than,next thing we would do is to look at their history.What they have been through,basically what does it takes to reach there I suppose.Than we reflect it with what we're doing in the present.

As dissapointed as I am over what has happened in Flair,thinking back,well I feel that I am wrong for being dissapointed.Life is too short for dissapointments ey.The way I see it,no matter what tensions,disagreements etc that we all have,we're still friends.For those who are no longer coming I suppose due to reasons...we're still friends too.

So rather than showing you all how dissapointed I am,I would like to thank you all instead.Memories are like gold.As for me I see myself rich now with all these gold.Priceless gold.Be it you end up having dance a part of your lives down the road or not,at least we all can look back and mention Flair once or twice.

I dont want Flair to be like other groups,where it's all business.I dont want Flair to think like other groups saying if theres a problem just chill,after some time,it'll be back to normal.Well that time that we've just mentioned is sadly wasted by not dancing.Something we all love to do I suppose.Basically I dont want Flair to be a group no more,or at least I dont want to be in the Flair Nation group.I want to be in the Flair Nation Crew.What's the difference?Think through.

So for all you 18 members dont worry,we are still one group no matter what.As for being crewmates,in my eyes,I only have 7 left.You know who you are.I'm going to work with this 7 from now on.Sorry if I dissapoint any of you in any ways.But I think about this everyday.Finding best ways to help Flair but I guess one man have his limitations.

I posted a picture today because Jeremy requested that I post pictures whenever I post something from now on,so I did.I feel its a nice picture.Full of warmth.

I love each and everyone of you no matter what,and I know somehow each and everyone of you know that be it long absence,short absence or closer than ever.
